Kent Gliding Club Annual Dinner 2010
Despite it being a bitterly cold night in early December with temperatures expected to drop well below zero, the clubhouse was the scene for the Annual Dinner followed by the handing out of achievment awards for the year. The event was well attended with around 50 guests enjoying the chance to meet, chat, eat, drink and celebrate their successes from an average soaring year.
The excellent meal was followed by an entertaining and somewhat educational talk from our guest speaker, Diana Britten, Britain's only unlimited female aerobatics display pilot, who told of her initial entry into flying and some of her adventures during her competitive career.
