Most people start gliding with a Trial Flying Lesson. Flying with a British Gliding Association trained instructor, the two-seat glider is towed up to 2,000 feet where it is released to gently float high above the airfield. During the flight your instructor will show you how the controls work and you will have the opportunity to fly the glider.

Trial Flying Lessons last around 15 minutes (but up to 25 minutes if the conditions are right) and at the end of your flight the instructor will bring the glider back to the airfield and land it.
