Half-Day Course
Unsure if you want to learn to fly a glider, a half-day course offers you the opportunity to do a little more than just sit in the cockpit for 15 minutes. You'll have the chance to try both launch methods (aerotow and winch) employed by the club as well as see how we operate on the ground. |

Day Course
You
may not have the time to commit yourself to
a full week of training. You may wish
to consider a day course instead. For quite
a modest fee you can enjoy a full day of instruction,
starting with a briefing, then an aerotow launch
and up to three winch launches. Many people
feel that such a day is the most cost effective
introduction to gliding.

Holiday
Courses
These give you an opportunity
to have an enjoyable holiday combined with an
intensive week of training along with other people
wanting to fly. During the week and depending on your ability, you could progress
a long way towards going solo.
Imagine a small group of people with the same
basic wish of learning to fly, with an experienced
professional instructor who will take a personal
interest in you and your flying ambitions.
We can offer you clean, comfortable, accommodation
in our clubhouse or provide you with a list of
local bed and breakfast accommodation. At the
end of the day a welcome drink in the bar provides
the chance to talk over the excitement of the
day. This is where real progress can be made,
developing a camaraderie which you will remember
most.
