We are able to operate two seat gliders safely (within British Gliding Association and Department for Transport Guidelines).  This has been achieved by:

  1. Installing a manufacturer approved modification to the gliders to separate the front and rear cockpits. This me means that you breathe separate air to your instructor.
  2. Adopting stringent sanitisation methodology – the cockpit will have been disinfected before you get into it.
  3. Having the ground crew wear face masks and visors so that they can help you safely.
  4. Implementing a robust Covid risk management policy across the club.

Club members are all aware of this.

If you are visiting (as pilot, trainee or guest) then you MUST read, understand and adhere to our covid  procedures. Click here.
