Fly With Us

Do you want to soar with a buzzard and ride the invisible air currents over the Garden of England?  It starts here.

Provided you are aged 12 or more, weigh under 16 stone and are reasonably fit you can glide.  If you have a disability you may well be able to glide.  Please contact us to discuss in detail.  Hopefully you’ll soon be airborne with one of our instructors having a fantastic new experience.

We’re here to get you soaring, be it a one off experience flight for you (or a friend or relative – a gliding flight is an excellent gift) or a full training package to get you to the stage where you can fly a glider by yourself. We’re here to help.

The simplest option is a one off Gliding Experience Flight with one of our qualified instructors. You will be aero-towed to 2,000 feet behind one of our tugs and the released for a soaring flight, typically lasting 15 minutes.  Click here for more information.

Or you can take a one or half day course, with more launches (including winch and aero-tow) and more air time – subject to conditions as much as 90 minutes – meaning that you will spend a substantial amount of time flying the glider.  Click here for more information.

We also run five day courses.  More time, more instruction.  Click here for more information.

Or you can purchase a Go for Solo, a fixed price scheme that will take you all the way to becoming a solo glider pilot.  Click here for details.

Finally you could arrange for a group of friends, work colleagues or customers to come and run a flying evening. Gliding is very much a team activity – it takes at least three people to launch a glider and you will be joining in (under supervision, of course). Click here to find out more.
